Austin, Texas. April 27. /99
My Dear Brother,
Many thanks for the copies of that inspired poem. I distributed them to the best minds of my church last Sunday as they were eagerly taken by the people. Whatever you print, especially on the idea of true Socialism, be sure to remember your brother in this hell(?) of so-called civilization where they hack, torture and burn negroes without a trial. Enclosed is the latest utterance from the centre. Proprium hears the swift step of its doom, and is making its last resistance. Then will come relief and liberation – first to the central structure then to the race. In November and December next occurs an unprecedented planetary conjunction concerning which the Lord said a year or two ago, that is must precede the end. After this battle is fought out the ego of the natural man lies down to its last sleep. May the blessed moment not linger.
Faithfully yours,
E.M. Wheelock
