Dear Mr. Markham,
In accordance with your request I mailed to your address fifty copies of “The Rule of Gold”. Some days afterward, I had the pleasure of notes from yourself and Mr. Stetson; also some copies of the reprinted discourse and Mr. Stetsons valuable pamphlet. The latter I heartily accept and have loaned to others. Have for years been a believer in p.r.(?) and in Referendum. I enclose two dollars, for which please mail me copies of my discourse – the cheapest form preferred. The industrial army is making the parasites and money-thieves quake, - with reason! The internal work goes swiftly on.
Sincerely yours,
E.M. Wheelock
