My dead Mr. Sinclair,
I don't know as much as you do about the Fred Warren case; but I shall be willing to sign the call you speak of provided Professor Giddings, Mr. Steffens and you yourself think it advisable to issue the proposed call. And if you three, with your greater knowledge of the matter, think it advisable to hold a mass meeting at Carnegie Hall, you may count on me to give a helping hand and voice.
Faithfully yours,
Edwin Markham
Mr.Upton Sinclair
