My Dear Comrade:
I send immediately the two letters of introduction. I also wanted you to meet Mr. Edwin D. Mead, editor of “The New England Magazine.” But he is a friend of Mr. Mills, and you must ask Mr. Mills to introduce you. Your visit will remain a lasting joy. It was a festival of fellowship and soul-delight for you are a presence of all that is good and pure and beautiful. Be sure to see me in Grinell.
Most lovingly,
George D. Herron
